Been going to Whitlock Goodyear for about 6 or 7 years now. And have never had a complaint with them once. So I was a bit nervous when I walked in for an engine failure and was told that Nick was leaving. And that new management, Ed and Mike, were coming in. I can happily report that this new team is just as excellent as the previous one. They were very transparent and great at keeping me in the loop as to what exactly was going on with my car. They were great at communicating with me every possible option I had with my repair and which one they personally recommended, and they made the deadline that they gave to me with my engine replacement. They treated me as if I was their first and only customer, which I greatly appreciated. Definitely still sticking with this location for my automotive needs for the foreseeable future. ~ Nick B
Great experience! I reached out to this location after a disastrous customer service experience at the local Ford dealership. My son’s car lost power steering on a long distance drive from Florida to Minnesota. We made it to Marietta and needed repair solutions. They were willing to take us in that day to give us a quote and make a plan. We left the car and they had it completed in the time they told us. The Manager and front end employee were super friendly and had great communication throughout the process. I only wished I lived in the area as I would definitely take my vehicles there for service or repairs in the future. ~ Diane R
I can't recommend Blue Ridge Automotive highly enough! I've been bringing my 2006 Prius here for service since moving to the area, and they've always done an excellent job keeping it running smoothly. Recently, I also had them inspect a new car purchase, and I was very impressed with their thoroughness. Mike was fantastic! He took the time to explain the details of the inspection, breaking down each component and its condition in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated that he didn't just give me a thumbs up or down, but instead provided a comprehensive overview. I received both a detailed paper copy and a digital version of the inspection, which was incredibly helpful. Their honesty and transparency are truly refreshing. Absolutely! 5/5 Stars!! I had an emergency flat tire on 4 psi and Apple Maps drove me here thinking it was Goodyear. I was worried I'd have to call a tow truck. A service Technician, Ryan, came out to greet me and said that he'd repair my tire for free and would fill it with air. Not only that, but I didn't have to wait and he got right to work. He was friendly and provided exceptional service. Not to mention Ryan's hella attractive! I absolutely recommend Blue Ridge Automotive and will be bringing my vehicle back here for future repairs and service. :) ~ Arkboi21 (
I made an appointment with Blue Ridge Automotive for a front end alignment and a tire rotation. The guys looked at our tires and said no need for the alignment saving us $100 + for the service and then added in an oil change at our request. We were so surprised that when we paid our bill for the tire rotation and oil change it was less than I had paid for an oil change alone at another place earlier this year! What a surprise to have an honest automotive repair facility that strives to save their customers money and they do great work! ~ Denise S
I needed a new tire as I had a flat. I originally spoke with Galvin and Andy (very cool and friendly guys) and the quote I received was about $8 more than Pepboys which is farther down on Whitlock Ave and I unfortunately decided in today's economy, every dollar saved is a must and went with Pepboys. (Both locations stated they will have the tire in at 2pm) Pepboys delivery team delivered the WRONG tire and I was told it would be in later so I decided to schedule an appointment for the following morning at 8am. Got to Pepboys the next morning and not only did the tire not arrive, I was told even if it was there, they didn't have a tire guy in for that day. I went back to Blue Ridge Auto and met with Andy and Galvin again, ordered the tire, was told it would be in by 2pm and I was outta there by 230pm. Galvin even went beyond to ensure the new tire was in the front and moved the tire with less tread life to the back for safety. Awesome staff and great job Andy and esp Galvin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~ Mr B
I took my car to Blue Ridge Auto because I suspected that my engine had an oil leak. I also needed an alignment service to even out tire wear. Gavin and Mike looked it over and found that the rear cam cover ( transverse mounted engine) was leaking. They also told me the tie rod ends were worn and needed to be replaced in order to make an alignment effective. The repair cost estimate was not cheap, but reasonable. The repairs were done quickly and the work appears to meet professional standards. ~ Philip H
I can't say enough good things about Blue Ridge Auto in Marietta. When our truck's AC went out, we decided to take it to Blue Ridge for repairs, as well as have an oil change performed. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with outstanding service. They quickly fit us into their schedule and kept us fully informed throughout the process with clear and transparent communication about the work needing to be done, timelines, and costs. What truly set them apart was their commitment to excellence. After picking up the truck, we noticed another issue with the AC. Blue Ridge Auto immediately got us back in and resolved the problem at no extra charge. Their exceptional customer service didn't stop there—they even followed up later to ensure everything was still running smoothly. This review is long overdue. After looking for a trustworthy mechanic for a very long time, I'm glad I finally found Whitlock. They used to work on my old Honda Accord, then my old Toyota Tacoma, and now they service my new Toyota Highlander. They always fix all my issues quickly and their prices are always fair. Excellent service! The front desk intake team were very cordial and professional. They took the time to explain the process to me. The technicians did a thorough evaluation of my car, fixed what i brought it in for and made recommendations for future needed repairs in a prioritized list. Now I see what the hype is about! These guys are thorough, honest and extremely competent. I was about to buy a used 2005 Toyota Rav 4: Low mileage, drove well but wanted a pre-purchase inspection just to be on the safe side. Not too soon after the car was dropped off, the mechanic called me and told me all of the issues and warned me against the purchase. I was able to get my deposit back and saved thousands on a lemon! ~ Sean W
One of my tires had a slow leak but I needed to run across town before I could come back to hopefully get it patched. Nick was fantastic. He filled the low tire to allow me to run my errand and while it took me a minute to get back from across town, he was still willing at 4:00 to take me and the guys confirmed that it was just a plug I needed and a roofing nail was the culprit. I've been coming here for years; the mechanics stand by their work. I recently needed a new set of tires for my 08 4runner and they gave me a very good price, and even included a free alignment. I take my cars here for everything, including oil changes and emissions. The sales manager doesn't try to upsell you, but is very honest and straightforward in his recommendations. Update: speedy oil change and the best price I've had in years. Gavin and Andy (and their team) took amazing care of both mine and my husband's vehicles. Very fair pricing, top customer service, extremely response with inquiries, really friendly. I think we've found our go-to auto repair/service place. Conveniently located on Whitlock Ave. in Marietta. I highly recommend checking this place out if you have vehicle repair needs. ~ Amanda P
Love this place and have been going here for years, but I dropped them one star because of their hours. They are closed when I am actually able to get work done. Saturday and Sunday is the only time I am able to get an oil change. I have to take my vehicles elsewhere and they aren't nearly as good. Bring back Saturday or extend your hours PLEASE. Edited to 5 stars after their reply. They deserve the business they get even if I can't get there. ~ S S
Showed up without an appointment for an air leak in my tire. They identified the nail and plugged the tire at no cost to me the day before Thanksgiving! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They also took the time to show and explain to me the wear on my brake pads and rotors. Could not recommend this place more and will definitely be back for all future maintenance! ~ Andrew N
Quick service and kind people. I felt stressed getting some work done and they finished it quickly. I was so thankful for service, updates, and price along the way. I also appreciated the full inspection and online portal for service agreements. I called around and double checked prices and there weren’t up charges on anything. I’ll be back for sure! Thank you SO MUCH to the Blue Ridge team - I found a screw in the tire of my my truck camper this morning while traveling in Marietta.. I could hear air leaking so needed to have it patched immediately. I took my rig over to Blue Ridge Automotive and they made time to patch it while I waited. Pre-purchase inspection. I bought a used car, that the seller claimed had no mechanical issues. That was a lie, upon inspection 3 system codes found and system monitors were reset/cleared recently. Also a sample of the transmission fluid was drained off and it was extremely burnt. I was able to reverse the sell and get my money back. So thankful for Edward and his crew. ~ Connie B
Stopped in because I had a nail in my tire. They quickly took a look and repaired. Also found another screw in the tire and plugged that leak as well. Then checked all 4 tires. When I went to pay, they said no charge. Was super impressed with the service and the staff. Nice to have a local auto shop run by good people. ~ Andrew J

I went in about 30 minutes before they closed with a large screw in my tire. Within ten minutes, the hole was plugged car was ready to drive. The two guys at the front desk were super nice and helpful. We have had four of our cars serviced at Blue Ridge Automotive and we will definitely use them again in the future. ~ Jennifer B
Reina is a wonderful Mavis employee. Very friendly and extremely efficient, she is one of the major reasons why I come to this Mavis store and not another one close by.
